“As a Minister it is imperative to be able to hear what my people are saying to me. I was finding that it seemed that people were speaking softer and softer as the years went by and as a result I was struggling to understand what they were saying, so much so that ‘would you repeat that,’ or ‘pardon me’ became part of my regular vocabulary.
